Administrative & Office
Can you envision goals? Do you carefully consider the whole picture and then generate the most effective course of action? Consider serving your parish on a team to help them consider all the possibilities and make the most productive and effective decisions about our parish’s future.
Stewardship Council
Can you envision goals and the steps it takes to accomplish them? As
members of the Stewardship Council, guided by the Holy Spirit, we work
as a team providing leadership for all to a stewardship way of life. We
believe everything comes from God and as stewards we receive God's gifts
gratefully and share them in love with others. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m.
Finance Council
Do you like to figure out all the pieces and resources to effectively
accomplish goals? If you like working with numbers, consider being an
advisory member of the Finance Council and assist the parish in
expenditures, balancing the budget and other financial issues affecting
the parish. Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
Pastoral Council
Do you carefully review the entire situationand then generate the most
effective course of action? Consider being a member of the Pastoral
Council; this group is the unifying structure within the parish, which guides the liturgical, social, ecumenical, educational, and administrative activities of the parish, which contribute to the living of the Gospel. The Council
acts as a forum to provide communication between the parishioners,
committees, the pastor and the staff. Council members serve a 3-year
term. Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:15 p.m.
Recruiter
Do you appreciate the distinctness of each person or see the potential in others? Help others find their unique path to serving God. Recruit just the right person for the just the right ministry. Contact parishioners who already have shown an interest in a particular ministry or a talent that can be used in a particular ministry or parish event. Call from home at your convenience; no cold calls.
Communication Ministry
Is it easy for you to talk to people and explain things? Occasionally
the parish office needs to call parishioners in various ministry groups
to pass on information in a timely manner. This is a ministry in which
you may work from home.
