Online Learning Community

   The diocese of Winona has updated its Safe Environment curriculum to include an online learning community.  All clergy, religious, staff and volunteers working or residing in the diocese of Winona will be able to access Safe & Sacred training modules via the internet and the diocese of Winona web site and must complete the new required elements posted on the site by December 31, 2007.  These include:

          (1) Learning Lesson: Protecting All God’s Children

          (2) Essential Commitment: Code of Conduct

          (3) Essential Commitment: Regarding Misconduct

   The learning lesson and commitments are easy to access and there is

on-line technical help available if you have questions. 

  To access the Safe & Sacred Online Learning:

          * Go to the web site: www.dow.org

          * Click on Safe Environment on the top toolbar

          * Half way down the page you will register under the area

             listed as "Online Learning Community"

          * Each member chooses their own username and

             personal, confidential password.

          * Once registration is complete and a username

            and password selected, members can return as

            often as desired to access the lessons and information.
