Itinerary

Day 1 ~ Minneapolis/Chicago/Frankfurt

             Depart Minneapolis to Chicago.  Change planes to Frankfurt.

Day 2 ~ Frankfurt/Rome

             Arrive Frankfurt and change planes to Rome.  Upon arrival we

             will be met and transferred to the hotel.  Dinner and overnight

             included.

Day 3 ~ Rome/Papal Audience

             Attend the Papal audience with Pope Benedict XVI.  In the

             afternoon, tour Rome including the Basilica of St. Mary Major, St.

             John Lateran and the Holy Cross in Jerusalem.  Dinner and

             overnight included.

Day 4 ~ Rome

             Morning transfer to the North American College.  The rest of the

             day will be at your leisure.

Day 5 ~ Rome

             Full day tour of Rome to include St. Peter's Basilica, Sistine

             Chapel, the Vatican Museums, the Roman Forum, and Trevi

             Fountain.  Dinner and overnight included.

Day 6 ~ Rome

             Full day tour of Rome to include the Ancient Coliseum, St. Peter's

             in Chains, Quo Vadis, St. Paul's Church outside the walls, and the

             Ancient Catacombs.  Dinner and overnight included.

Day 7 ~ Assisi

             Drive through the Italian countryside to Assisi where we will stop

             at St. Mary of the Angel Church in Portiuncula and visit St.

             Francis' Chapel, the Rose Garden, Francis' Cave and the Chapel 

             of St. Francis' death.  Following Mass we will continue to the tomb

             of St. Francis and St. Clare Church where her body lies intact and

             where the famous St. Damioni Crucifix (who spoke to St. Francis)

             is located.  We return to Rome for dinner and overnight which is

             included.

Day 8 ~ Rome

             Free day!  Dinner and overnight included.

Day 9 ~ Rome/Frankfurt/Chicago/Minneapolis

             Transfer to the airport for flights back to Minneapolis.
